Important Notes for Successful Hatching:

1. Do Not Wash the Eggs
   Only use clean, unwashed, and undamaged eggs. Avoid using deformed, cracked, or irregularly shaped eggs.
2. Use Only Fertilized Eggs
   Ensure eggs are fertilized—unfertilized or commercially sold eggs will not hatch. To check, use the egg candler: look for signs like opaque floc spots near the yolk.
3. Use Fresh Eggs
   Eggs should be fresh and laid within:
   • 7 days for chicken and duck eggs
   • 10 days for goose eggs
     Using older eggs significantly reduces hatch success rate.
